I was still slower tonight with the H57 wool, but it is familiar to me now so I didn’t have to think quite so much about what I was doing.
I also took a few minutes and checked the wraps per inch on my various yarns. For the non-knitter, that’s a way to gauge the thickness of yarn.
Blue Leicester 2-ply: 11 WPI = DK
Blue Leicester 3-ply: 9 WPI = Worsted
Heinz 57 3-ply: 7 WPI = Chunky
